Annual Lincoln Geographical Association's Sixth Form Conference: Bishop Grosseteste University
A number of students from both the L6 and U6 enjoyed a morning of lectures at BGU on Thursday 26th of September. The morning was designed to give students a greater insight into under-graduate studies and to find out more about the different aspects of geography that can be studied at university. Students were able to attend a variety of lectures through the morning given by academics from the University covering a diverse range of topics: 'Geography as a whole - drawing the elements together', Natural Hazards: 'Hurricane Dorian', 'Place, space and language in the UK' and 'Globalization and Small Islands'. Presentations were also given by both BGU and Lincoln University on the courses they have on offer.
