Learning Support
The school is dedicated to the inclusion of all students, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), encouraging them to learn, discover and develop to their full potential.
A number of students will, at some point in their time here, have additional needs which require support over and above our usual academic and pastoral systems.
Queen Elizabeth Grammar School is one of the founding members of the Horncastle Education Trust and shares its vision:
We believe that every student whatever their background has the right to flourish, to achieve and to succeed and everything undertaken by Horncastle Education Trust should have this ambition at its heart.
The school’s SEND department works to uphold the values and principles set out in the trust’s SEND policy.
QEGS SEND Information Report 2024Lincolnshire County Council's SEND Advice Line Service has worked with educational psychologists to provide a comprehensive resource for children with SEND during home learning.
