Parents of prospective students are welcome to visit the school by prior arrangement with the Headteacher.
The main open evening is in the early autumn – the date and details are shared with primary schools, the local media and via the school’s social media channels.

Year 7
The school is responsible for its own admission arrangements and works closely with the Local Education Authority which holds details on all dates and procedures concerning application forms, deadlines, languages and offers. Our planned admission numbers for Years 7-11 is 120 students.
Students wanting to join the school in Year 7 must achieve the minimum standard score in the 11+ selection tests which are set and standardised on behalf of the Lincolnshire Consortium of Grammar Schools (LCGS). Find out more about the 11+ test or purchase practice papers.

Sixth Form
Work hard and be nice to people.
Our Sixth Form is open to all students and offers great facilities and equipment including specialist classrooms, laboratories, dedicated study areas with laptops and a well-furnished reading room. Our experienced subject specialists deliver high-quality teaching and offer unrivalled support that helps students to achieve excellent results. Our planned admission number for Y12-13 is 160 students.
Our Sixth Form students are the heartbeat of our school and play a vital role in the community, outside of academic study students pursue a varied range of activities, enjoy regular trips to supplement learning and are given opportunities to take on leadership roles of responsibility.
