Students in Sixth Form were interviewed by a wide range of employers and QEGS alumni last week. As part of the careers programme, we were delighted to welcome over 25 employers to QEGS over two days to ensure every student in Upper Sixth had the opportunity to practice their interview techniques and engage in conversation with local employers. As they prepare their UCAS applications and research future career pathways, several students received the opportunity to engage in work experience placements and industry insights as a result of their successful interview.

This valuable experience would not be possible without the support of our QEGS alumni network and local businesses. We were delighted to welcome several new employers to QEGS, and it is always a pleasure to see familiar faces return to this event each year. Whilst this experience can be daunting for students, the positivity and smiles on the faces of students after their interview demonstrates the importance of practising their skills.
