Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School Horncastle

U13s Boys Tennis

Over the past week, the U13s boy’s tennis team have played three matches in the county schools tennis league. First, the team played Boston Grammar at Boston Tennis Club. The match finished 3-3, so the match went to a doubles tie break and unfortunately QEGS lost 13-11pts.

Next up, the team played The Kings School, Grantham. The end result again finished 3-3 in matches and so the match was decided by a doubles tie break. The tie break was close, but unluckily QEGS lost 10-6pts.

Despite the disappointment of narrowly losing in their two previous matches on a tie break, the team were determined to get a win under their belts. Their third match was against The Priory Ruskin Academy, which was played at Grantham Tennis Club. The team played some fantastic tennis and as a result thoroughly deserved to win 5-1 in matches. Next up for the team is Louth Grammar after half term.
