Tennis Success in KS4

On Friday 14^th June, the KS4 boys and girls tennis teams travelled to Eastgate Tennis Club, Lincoln to play Lincoln Minster in the LTA county tennis league.

Each team consisted of four players and all players played a set of singles and a set of doubles. All games were played in a good spirit and highly competitive. Some games were very one sided, where QEGS showed off their tennis dominance. Other games, were more even and the result could’ve gone to either team. Overall, both teams won their respective fixtures 5-1 in matches.

The boys are due to play Louth Grammar in their next fixture and the girl’s team are scheduled to play Spalding Grammar School next.
