Four Student Council representatives met with peers from other local schools and several town councillors to discuss the proposed recreation area on Prospect Street.

All QEGS students have been given the opportunity to feed back their thoughts on the proposed designs, through their Student Council representative, or through the online response form.

The thoughts of our students were conveyed by the Student Council at the meeting, including raising the concern of flooding in the area, and a lively impromptu discussion continued after the meeting, where our students spoke with passion and enthusiasm about the local community, the youth centre, our eco-garden and a former student's engagement in politics.
