QEGS Student and Dept Both Win Lincs Music Awards 2023

QEGS has won 'Lincolnshire Music Department of the Year 2023' at the Lincolnshire Music Education Awards. Mrs Addis went to collect the award on behalf of the QEGS music department at Lincolnshire Show; the awards were presented by Cllr. Bradwell, Deputy Lead and Executive Councillor of Children's Services (LCC). In addition, Jessica Gates (Y13) has won 'Young Music Maker of the Year 2023'. She was nominated by Mrs Addis and received her award at the same event. Our music department thrives because of the team spirit instilled in it. So many QEGS staff, friends, parents, students and supporters work tirelessly to provide performance and educational opportunities throughout the academic year in so many contexts, in and out of school. We are very proud of this achievement.
