QEGS Christmas Carol Concert 2024

The annual Christmas Carol concert saw 97 students and 12 staff singing and playing a variety of pieces including Handel's Hallelujah Chorus (with chamber orchestra accompaniment), Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty waltz, a James Rae Boogie Woogie and Christmas classics including White Christmas and O Holy Night. The night featured our senior choir, KS3 choir, chamber choir and staff choir plus our instrumental ensembles (strings, woodwind & brass). We raised £628.53. Half of this money has been donated to The Salvation Army Christmas Appeal and the other half will be used by the music department for their extra curricular programme.
