Yee Shiuann Wan - Year 7
Yee Shiuann is being awarded the Headteacher's Commendation in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the school community through her exceptional musical talents. Yee Shiuann has represented the school on numerous occasions, performing the violin at key events. As one of the youngest participants in school community activities, including the fundraising event at Belchford in November and the Christmas concert, Yee Shiuann demonstrates maturity and a deep commitment to both her music and her school. Her ability to balance these responsibilities with her schoolwork is commendable.
Brooke Briers - Year 8
Brooke is being awarded the Headteacher's Commendation in recognition of her exceptional contributions to The Arts. As an active member of the art club, Brooke is a fine role model for her peers, consistently sharing creative ideas and demonstrating politeness, helpfulness, and an admirable work ethic. Millie Bett - Year 8

Whether organising rehearsals with his band, performing solo, or contributing to events like open mic lunches and open evenings, Tayo’s enthusiasm and effort are inspiring. His willingness to support others, such as rehearsing with a fellow student for their GCSE performance, reflects his generosity and collaborative spirit. In addition to preparing thoroughly for his own performances, Tayo has embraced new challenges, such as drumming in a style unfamiliar to him for the Grease musical. His attendance at rehearsals and maturing discussions on technique and performance showcase his dedication to improvement. Whether singing, playing the piano, or drumming, Tayo consistently shines.
Katharine Hunter - Year 11

Hope McIlwrick - Upper 6th
Hope is being awarded the Headteacher's Commendation in recognition of her contributions to the wider life of the school and her unwavering support for others. Hope is a shining example of selflessness and generosity. She regularly volunteers with Age UK, offers support to her peers within the Sixth Form, and ensures others feel comfortable during trips and visits. Her kindness and willingness to help others are evident in all she does. Most notably, Hope’s compassion and courage were demonstrated through her registration on the Anthony Nolan Stem Cell Register, and her recent identification as a match for a patient in need of a transplant. Her willingness to donate stem cells to help save a life speaks volumes about her extraordinary character and the depth of her generosity. Hope is a role model within our school community, inspiring others with her acts of kindness and dedication to making a difference.
