Girls Tennis Match v Priory Ruskin Academy

Determined, confident and focused were the QEGS girls in preparation for their match this week.

This proved well founded as Rachel Ward, Lily Daykin and Zoe Butterfield all won their singles matches comfortably. Penny joined them after deciding she wanted a little extra match practice on court but nevertheless closed out another good set 7-5.

With the match already won, (sun beating down – suncream required and applied), both doubles pairings of Rachel and Lily and Zoe and Penny raced through their sets without conceding a game between them!

Decisive play girls. Well deserved.
