Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School Horncastle

Giant Orchestra Day

Some of our students went to Carre's Grammar School to take part in the 'Giant Orchestra Day'.  Approximately 200 musicians performed together, putting together a short concert for family and friends at the end of the day.  The repertoire included Elgar's Nimrod and FatBoy Slim's Right Here Right Now, featuring a live DJ.

The day was accessible to both our most advanced players and our beginners.  It was an excellent day and we hope to go again next year!
