On Thursday 6th June, QEGS hosted the Y8 and 10 boy’s district rounders tournament. We entered three teams into the tournament, one team in Y8 and two teams in Y10. All three teams were a credit to the school and played some great rounders, showing off their excellent tactical understanding of the game.
Congratulations to the Y8 and Y10 (team 2) as both teams finished 1st in their respective tournaments. Both teams finished with a 100% win record, which reflects how good both teams played.
A big thank you to the Y12 students Harry Masters, George Brewster, Myles Huck and Jay Wold who helped manage, officiate and collate scores during the tournament.
