Coastal & Wolds Girls Rounders Tournament

Back on the agenda for this summer was the popular Coastal & Wolds Rounders tournament which saw a record 11 schools (12 teams) competiting on a glorious summers evening.

The competition was organised into two sections with 4 groups of 3 schools in each league. The winners of each league would then all play off for final placings of 1-4, all 2^nd places would regroup for final placings of 5-8 and all 3^rd finishers would compete for places 9-12.

QEGS ‘A’, Y8 won their league and QEGS ‘B’ which was a Y7 team finished in 3^rd place in theirs. They entered for extra practice before their tournament next week!

So to the regrouping for section 2 (all winners of the leagues). QEGS ‘A’ beat KEVIGS Louth, QEGS Alford and KEVIS Spilsby to win overall and finalise placings 1-4. QEGS ‘B’ beat John Spendluffe, KEVIS Spilsby and De Aston to finish in 10^th place.
