Celebrating Sixth Form Life – Zoro Chikura (L6)

One of the main reasons why I chose to fundraise for the British Heart Foundation was to raise awareness for heart and circulatory diseases. I feel like the work of the British Heart Foundation is so important, because I heard the effect it had on people around me, and I saw how prevalent these heart and circulatory diseases are through researching various statistics.
This whole experience of delivering a presentation to my peers and running a marathon helped me grow as a person from my fitness to my communication skills. I like the idea of fundraising for healthcare initiatives (especially since I want to have a career in medicine), and I believe it is never too early to start making a difference.
