Bishop Grosseteste University - 2023

Year 10 students from Banovallum School and QEGS visited Bishop Grosseteste University on Wednesday 11^th January as part of the First Steps 2 Study programme. In the joint project, students from both schools participated in a variety of activities led by student ambassadors at the university aiming to raise awareness of Higher Education and encourage students to have high aspirations for their future careers. Firstly, students attended a lecture, in which they had to take detailed notes to prepare for a debating session in the afternoon - all about the pros and cons of social media. They also had a tour around the university campus, seeing all the of fantastic facilities available and to get a glimpse of what university life could be like.
