SchoolBarcelona Trip
On Monday 16th October 41 very enthusiastic students and 5 members of staff set off from Horncastle to East Midlands airport where we boarded a flight to Barcelona.
While away students fully immersed themselves in Spanish culture using their Spanish language skills and experiencing some of the best architecture and galleries Europe has to offer.
Particular highlights of the trip included our time spent at Park Guell and the Sagrada Familiar where we were able to appreciate the work of the world renowned Architect and designer Antoni Gaudi, students were mesmerized by the intricate nature of his designs.
The group also enjoyed our visit to the Dali theatre and museum where we were able to explore Dali’s vast collection of surrealist work.
The trip was a wonderful cultural experience for our students and was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
