Students at Mam Tor

Upper Sixth A level Geologists took two days out recently.  Led by Dr Aggett, the first day was a study of geological sites in Lincolnshire.  Students saw red and white chalk at Red Hill, at Asterby  and studied glacial deposits at  Welton le Wold.

On the second day, the students travelled to Castleton in Derbyshire where they studied the geology around Mam Tor (pictured).
