Anderby Creek sand dunes and terrain encountered

On Wednesday 13th September a group of 60 Year 11 GCSE geographers accompanied by parent helpers, 6th Formers and teachers headed out to Anderby Creek to conduct fieldwork on the sand dunes. Despite Storm Aileen having blown through the county overnight the weather was kind to us, with even the sun making an appearance during the day. The students worked admirably through the challenges that the vegetation and environment provided, with the knowledge that once all the fieldwork data was collected they could then head to the beach cafe for chips and ice cream!
