Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School Horncastle

Students and staff benefited from the recent sunny weather during the Year 12 Geography fieldtrip to North Yorkshire. Students were able to experience a range of field work techniques during the three days which complemented their studies in both physical and human geography. Students stayed in youth hostels in both Scarborough and Whitby and in the evenings were treated to lectures from Asher Haynes from Sirius Minerals and Jonathan Botham from Elizabeth Botham and Sons Bakery - to find out about the changes to Whitby and its surrounding area in recent years.
