Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School Horncastle

We are delighted to have been shortlisted by Tesco ‘Bags of Help’ to raise money for a sports project.

Sport is an important aspect of wellbeing because it brings together social and physical activity alongside fun and enjoyment.  We hope that everyone will support us in our aim to improve facilities and increase participation in sport for our young people and for the wider community who use our school.

Our project will help by raising money for new equipment.  Initially this will include football posts and nets, netball posts and nets and safety flooring for the cricket practice area.

Tesco’s Bags of Help project, which is funded from the 5p bag levy, has already delivered over £28.5 million to more than 4,000 projects across the UK.  Three projects are selected per region and we could receive £5,000, £2,000 or £1,000 depending upon the outcome of the public vote.

You can help us to raise money by voting for our project from the 7th May until the 30th June when you shop in the Horncastle Store.   Every time you shop you will be given a token, please use it to vote for our project.

If you use the self-service checkouts, please ask for a token so that you can vote.  If you shop online, you can take your delivery note to the store and will be given a token so that you don’t miss out.

Please help us to make a difference, remember to vote for our project every time you shop in Tesco.

Thank you
